I could sit here forever and ever, avoiding what hurts.
But when I meet it with compassion it tucks in with softness.
A softness that’s unfamiliar, it’s a softness that hurts.
But the hurt isn’t dangerous, it only tells you where there’s growth.
Avoiding the growth will not leave you content, though meeting the growth may make you melt..
Parts of yourself are melting away, for the new version of you is no longer to be led astray.
Sometimes it’s easy to avoid the pain, or the actions that’ll lead to a potential hurt.
But it may just be our fear, our fear to not be met when we move forward.
Or a fear that our minds limiting beliefs will be questioned and destroyed.
It may be a fear that when we move towards what we want, there’s so much emptiness — that it’ll be better to stay in the known unfulfilling patterns.
Might it be just as okey to know new empty roads? To know that when you move towards the desire; you are fully capable of witnessing yourself and holding yourself in the emptyness? Knowing that this spaciousness can hold all that may become? To know that nothing can arise before a renewed void has gotten the chance to entirely emerge around you?
To move forward with love, love for your dreams and desires. Love for your projects and communities.
Love for what you cannot see that are pulling you towards what you cannot comprehend.
